BLEACHING

Bleaching, unlike simple whitening of the teeth surface, means blanching of the teeth’s own color. When bleaching a single tooth which has been discolored after a root canal treatment, a small hole is drilled into the tooth and the bleaching agent is filled in the hole. In the case where all of teeth will be bleached, exterior bleaching technique is used.

Today, “office” type bleaching which gives perfect results in just 1 hour is preferred. Bleaching agent applied on the teeth’s surface by the dentist is activated either by a special light or a laser, which is a more advanced method.
